Why I Love Selling Vintage

Not only do I love vintage items and collectibles but I am thankfully reminded on a weekly, if not daily, basis that my customers do too.  I could post all day long about the stories I hear from my customers about their purchases and I would never get bored even though you might.

This went to a 14 year old whose father told me that the piano on the cover was a 1923 just like the one he just purchased for his son who would be thrilled to get the piano book that matched it.

This little item went to someone who was very pleased with it according to the feedback they left.

This buyer collects menus and was thrilled to get this one.

Even though I screwed up this sale and had to mail each item out separately, I had the most wonderful, understanding buyer from Canada that really loved both of these vintage items.

This was one of four yearbooks that a customer purchased from me.  I’m sure there was an upcoming reunion.

Do you sell vintage? Don’t you love the stories that go along with the sales?

What’s your favorite one? I’d love to hear it.
